Our Waterkids course is specifically designed to provide an introduction to artistic swimming for our youngest swimmers before they join the main club. These sessions are run by Rushmoor Artistic Swimming Club coaches and take place at Camberley Leisure Centre 6-7pm on Sundays

Aimed at girls and boys aged between swimmers 6-8 years, WaterKids has been designed as an introduction to the sport and will be taught using fun activities suitable for the novice artistic swimmer. During this course, progress will be monitored and in six-twelve months, if all goes well, the swimmer will be given an opportunity to attend an assessment for becoming a full member of the club.

 

Full membership will entail more commitment to training but this will be explained to you nearer the time. By attending this introduction course the swimmer will have a better idea of the sport and you will have had the opportunity to find out more about the club, the training and the structure before deciding whether to attend the main club assessment.

 

Swimmers must be water confident, able to swim and enjoy movement in the water.
